The founder
Meet Shane Lamb.
Shane brings over 25 years of hands-on experience leading finance and accounting operations across some of Utah's most dynamic industries. He has served as CFO, Controller, and Director of Finance for companies generating over $100M in annual revenue, managing teams, banking relationships, and company-wide financial strategy. Along the way, he's reduced financial reporting cycles by 33%, overseen $50M+ asset-based lines of credit, led enterprise system implementations, and built incentive programs that grew company revenue by 10%.
His career spans construction, excavation, homebuilding, and beyond, giving him rare insight into the financial challenges that project-based businesses face at every stage of growth. Shane founded Creekside Advisory Group to make that level of expertise accessible to the businesses that need it most: the ones building something real.
He also brings a decade of nonprofit financial leadership, serving as Finance Vice Chair for Utah Swimming from 2014 to 2024 and overseeing budgets and governance for a statewide, board-led organization. It's experience that shapes how he advises mission-driven and member-based clients.
